Located in the heart of Los Angeles' Jewish community at the corner of Melrose and Spaulding in the Fairfax District, Young Israel of Los Angeles has been a fixture of the Orthodox Jewish community for over 60 years!  Founded in 1955 by a group of Holocaust survivors, our shul quickly became a center of traditional Jewish life in Los Angeles' storied Fairfax District.

While Melrose Avenue has transformed over the decades, Young Israel of Los Angeles remains a constant, connecting our community's past with its future.
